Plans submitted for signage for proposed Peterhead drive-through

A developer wants to build a Burger King outlet at Burnside Road as well as a shop.

The fast food outlet would be 3,200sqft with a Toolstation store nearby.
The proposed site forms part of Burnside Business Park near the Invernettie roundabout and is already home to a business centre and Quantum Data Solutions.

Aberdeen-based firm Mackie Ramsay Taylor Architects has submitted the plans on behalf of Carnoustie Links Development Limited.

Now the company have submitted fresh proposals for totem signage advertising the restaurant.

The sign would sit at the top of a 20ft steel pole next to the A90 Peterhead to Aberdeen road.

A support statement with the original application urged planning bosses to back it.

The document said there would also be pedestrian links to the eatery and there would be 50 parking spaces to be divided between each unit.
